Thanks for checking out our website. If you are looking for a church home or are
just in town visiting and want to attend a worship service, let me be the first to
invite you to Holy Cross Lutheran Church. We have services at 8:30 AM and
10:45 AM on Sunday mornings, with Holy Communion served at both services
weekly. We also have a Sunday school called Godly Play that meets at 10:30 AM
on Sundays. If you are looking for a friendly, intimate, and welcoming
congregation, come check us out. We may not be a large congregation, but we
make up for it with the size of our humor and goodwill.
My name is Pastor Jonathan Yurk. But I prefer to go by Pastor Jon, or just Jon.
I am a recent Seminary graduate and have been serving Holy Cross since March
of 2009. I am originally from Nebraska, so I am obviously a big Cornhusker
football fan. If you are looking for a church to call home, we have a lot to offer
here at Holy Cross. Our worship services are Spirit-filled, thanks to our musician
Joey Ginnetti and choir director Laurel Lindstrom. We have an amazing Sunday
school for children called Godly Play. I can honestly say that kids love coming to
Sunday school. We have had several families join recently because their kids
want to come back to Godly Play.
Holy Cross is a welcoming, relaxed, and friendly place to worship. I pray that
God is blessing your life with faith, hope, and love. We would love to see you
